Cherry Blossoms 桜 【さくら】

サカモトは綺麗きれいな桜さくらを見みているのではなく、
鼻血はなぢが出でるのを抑おさえているのだ。

Sakamoto isn’t looking at the beautiful cherry blossoms.
He is trying to suppress his nosebleed.

そのあと彼かれはフランクフルトに鼻血はなぢを塗ぬって食たべた。

Afterwards he spread the blood on a Frankfurt and ate it.

 

Remove 離れる 【はなれる】

サカモトはエレベーターのボタンを押おしたが、指ゆびが離はなれなくなってしまった。
直前ちょくぜんに鼻はなくそをほじったのが原因げんいんだろうか。

Sakamoto pushed the elevator button, but he couldn’t remove his finger.
Is it because he picked a booger just before?

このエレベーターのボタンは鼻はなで押おさなければいけない仕組しくみなのだ。。

This elevators button mechanism must be pressed using your nose.

 

Blame 責める 【せめる】

サカモトは自分じぶんを責せめた。
自分じぶんの不注意ふちゅういのせいでチームが試合しあいに負まけたことを。

Sakamoto blamed himself.
His team lost the game due to his carelessness.

 

彼かれの不注意ふちゅういが敗因はいいんなのではなく、彼かれが試合しあいに出でていること自体じたいが敗因はいいんなのだ。

It wasn’t his carelessness that was the cause of defeat, but that he was in the game at all that caused it…

 

 

It looks like ～のように見える【～のようにみえる】

サカモトはビデオチャットを楽たのしんでいるように見みえるが、実際じっさいはただの独ひとり言ごとである。

It looks like Sakamoto is enjoying a video chat, but actually, he is talking to himself.

 

京都きょうとに住すむ50代だいのおばさんと話はなしている設定せっていのようです。

It’s set up like he’s talking with a 50-year-old lady living in Kyoto.

 

Lunch 昼食【ちゅうしょく】

サカモトはいつも昼食ちゅうしょくにパンを食たべる。
それにしてもこの弁当箱べんとうばこは明あきらかに大おおきすぎる。

Sakamoto always eats bread for lunch.
Even so, this lunch box is obviously too big.

 

アップルパイが入はいっていたら、その弁当箱べんとうばこの意味いみが少すこしはあったのに。

If there were apple pie, there would be a little meaning to the lunch box.

 

Watermelon 【スイカ】

Sakamoto can change a watermelon seed into a 100 yen coin.

 

ただし一回いっかいにつき300円えんまで。
